cant use my cave server while server is running properly

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I have a dedicated server and me & my friends are playing in it for 4 or 5 months but a few weeks earlier i found out my caves entrance is sealed with some roots i checked the server logs it seems there's no problem and it shows shard cave connected to master but we cant use caves i have contact to the support of my host and they say they don't know.

maybe it is worth mentioning the server ip range changed a few times after the last change the caves were gone.

i dont know whats the problem. is there anyone khows about my problem that can hope to fix it!?

i have uploaded my most recent master and cave logs

server_log caves.txt server_log master.txt

The shard seems to be connected, but the master and Caves servers don't seem to actually establish the connection, since the sinkholes didn't activate according to the log.

(It says inactive on all of them. If they are connected, they would say enabled or disabled, depending if you've unplugged them.)

Since it says "[Warning] Could not confirm port 10889 is open in the firewall." make sure that you allow the DST server through the firewall. It might be the one preventing establishting the full connection.

actually the problem is not that. I don't know why but when i changed the StartServer file command from bin64 folder to bin and the dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer_x64 to dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer the server started properly and the caves start to work again.

BTW i had noticed that log announcements before, it always say that in the log even before the problem starts to show up.

I really don't know why this problem suddenly showed up and its the same while I change it to dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer_x64
