SomeRandomFinn Posted December 30, 2022 Share Posted December 30, 2022 On tiles with drywall you can't see gases (as separate colour tiles) when in the materials overlay. (You can still mouseover a tile to see the gas.) This makes it more difficult to see gas-related things in drywalled areas (e.g. hydrogen levels in a ranch). Materials show their melting temperature and this might be helpful sometimes. And while gases are 1 tab, solids are many. I guess just a checkbox whether you want to see background tiles material...
