axxel Posted December 11, 2022 Share Posted December 11, 2022 I like the idea of increasing the difficulty (of resources management) by reducing the drop chances of items from slain mobs or/and mined/picked resources instead of reducing spawned entities (which makes the world empty). Increasing the threat level in the world options always means more drops which makes the survival easier but I'd prefer that hounds and frogs wouldn't give me easy meat. I mean we have overheat and freezing and wetness whose sole purpose is to drain your resources and stats. Mobs could do that, too. Maybe it's a bad idea, but I think it's a decent option to balance resources and difficulty according to the number of players (instead of adjusting only mob HP). Your thoughts?
