Help! How do I make my character gain sanity when playing musical instruments?

I want one of my characters in my mod to have the ability to gain sanity when playing instruments such as the one-man band and pan flute. I am not an experienced coder, so I'm not sure how to make this happen. Is there anyone who could lend a little help or links to some forums? Thanks!
