Will the story traits tell a story?

So we got a new story trait system. For now it seems like each one is just a utility structure similar to the neural vasciliator. But the it`s supposed to tell a story right. Or maybe make one. Will those things get a chain of tasks to do? Something that builds a story around them? Or maybe they will build into an overarching story when more of them get added.

Currently the effects of the story trait machines on the colony are pretty small. It`s not something you build your base around. Atleast for now. I imagine the idea is for the story traits is to make each playthrough different by providing a unique "trait" to your colony.

For now i`m not 100% sure what the story traits are supposed to be but i hope we will find out soon. What do you think it will end out working?
