SpomJ
- What it is So, lets separate every element to its own layer. (Layers are the order of updating tiles) Then, update all the heaviest liquid. Then lighter one, ... Then the heaviest gas and etc. Upon updating, we will calculate how much (under current pressure) does the mass fill the tile. The next liquid we update would be higher than this one and it can fill the remaining space. The tiles of gas/liquid can coexist on each other (as long as it is 100% of the tile), that's why it is called layering. There might be some extra rules for gases to make them function properly. - Why To improve/fix many situations. Liquid now fills vacuum. Oxygen & POxygen blend together and still maintain normal breathability. 4 tile high droplets will be 1 tile now, just cool-stacked. This kills compact liquid airlocks, but still allows classic ones. This also prevents most of infinite storage from working. And many others. - Considerations Make a cool line wavy border between liquids in most cases instead of just gradient colors.
