The steamed twigs controversy...

I have been gaming in the hit internet indie game sensation known as Don't perish from starvation together.

 

And the gaming session was a BLAST! Untill.. I've prepared a 5 star meal for me and my dear cow which i named Nicholas. Popped 4 twigs into a crockpot and then BAM. My dear Nicholas gulped that stuff down. I made another meal for me only to find out.. that i can't consume it!

 

This is absolutely pointless, as I've consumed many twigs in real life, even the not steamed kind! And yet..the game limits our source of protein preferring to only let COWS consume steamed twigs.

 

I am shocked and frankly, disgusted. I was going to starve from not consuming said steamed twigs, so i had to EAT NICHOLAS. HE IS DEAD.. BECAUSE OF KLEI!

 

I'm sorry if your view of this company is ruined because of my outburst, but I've been holding it in far too long and i will NOT let Klei go unpunished.

 

I have already contacted the CIS and they're on this case so fear not, I'll update you on the situation soon.

Hello @lggy, welcome to the forums. While I understand your frustration. The Steamed Twigs were originally Beefalo feed, it was renamed to Steamed Twigs in the recent beta update (which I assume you are playing). The Steamed Twigs is not for player consumption. In case there was confusion as to why you can make it with a crockpot but can't eat it yourself. It is only for taming beefalos.
