Having him able to interact and collect things and be as normal would have him more playable and less annoying to exist as. Separate his hunger from the transformation meter too. Just do these simple things and I feel like things would suck less for him and the rest whom want to play as him. That's not necessary to be fair, his forms aren't something super to be that unbalanced anyway.
