Slightquills
We have some contained buildings such as the desalinator, the water seive, and even the deordorizer. There is an existing method to liberate salt and dirt from water, but not to create clay. (Using heat to steam off the water.) But another cool process to incorporate into the game mechanics might be to allow liquids to seep through filtration mediums leaving behind said resources (Perhaps also adding refined carbon to the filtration mediums list). Combining the filtration mediums with an air flow tile (from underneath) for gases (polluted oxygen mainly), or with mesh tiles (from above) for liquids (salt water, brine, polluted water) perhaps this could process these things much more slowly, but do so using MUCH less heat energy, if any.
