The Bunnymen Revamp

The loot table for bunnymen was changed during Reap What You Sow. From what I remember, the line of thought was for these two things:

1) Klei wanted Carrots to be obtained mainly from farming.

2) The loot table was lined up to match with pigmen.

The changes do both of that, but I think more can be done for Bunnymen since no one really uses them anymore.

Bunny hutches should cost 5 carrots instead of 10.

For the loot that bunnymen now give (and just building them in general), I believe their houses are too expensive to make, even if you were growing all the carrots yourself.

That's why I think it should be 5 carrots instead.

Bunny puffs need more uses.

The uses for bunny puffs are incredibly niche and limited. Trade it for gold, make a webber cookie, fur roll that's not really useful, and of course make more bunny hutches.

Compare that to pig skin, which is used to make Hambats and Football Helmets, both items being really good and important for survival.

Unfortunately, the best I can think of is a cheap bunny puff vest that has 120 insulation for the winter with a decent sanity regen. 

It would be the first winter vest at 120 insulation and would actually be really good to give to pearl in the first Winter (and if it were to take silk, hopefully it would only be 4 since getting more can be annoying).

Having said that, even more uses for bunny buffs for the long run would be nice since there really isn't much they can be used for.

Beardlords are lacking

Beardlords don't really work too well in DST since only Beardlords killed by the low sanity playes will drop their loot.

I think Bunnymen should instead turn into beard lords if any player near them is insane and thus get all the buffs they have in their single player counterpart, resolving this long standing issue.

I also think that there should be something else to the loot of beardlords. I really want to say nightmare fuel since Beardlings also drop nightmare fuel, but there'd have to be some tuning that goes on with that since they can be farmed daily.

So in essence:

  • Cheaper houses
  • More uses for bunny puffs (and a bunny puff vest).
  • Beardlords should work properly and have more to their loot (maybe nightmare fuel).

I know, I know.

Alternative for ham bat, but from monster meat, bunny puffs, and twigs.

Need hat-machine or magic triangle to make. Deal less dmg, and some kind of magical poison dmg. Without stunning, to be balance. Stacks, but lasts for ~6 sec. Poison dmg became stonger depend of spoiling, but dmg per hit - lover, as with normal ham bat.

But in general dmg grows with spoiling.

What do you think?
