A quick fix for the Tail o' Three Cats

Recommended Posts

Alright so this whip is a huge favorite of mine, the upsides that it has makes it a pretty niche, yet cool whip and I think a buff should be added to make it a much more desirable weapon and what I thought should be added is... Just make it able to be sewed back like any other clothing item! This would solve the problem of dealing with the low chance to getting two annoying ingridients (which most of the times are quite the distance from each other) only one time, makes the weapon way more interesting for new players which may struggle to get the ingridients for more advanced weapons and for players with more experience which find the ingridients to get it annoying and grindy, and it also gives a soft-buff to Winona which may be more inclined to use this weapon thanks to her Trusty Tape, let me know what you think about this change, is it a good idea or would you guys change it in any other way?

Hey, I've been thinking this exact same thing!

One idea I had in addition to being able to repair it with a sewing kit was to make the de-aggro effect proc based on making consecutive attacks rather than chance, the number of which changing depending on the type of mob. Like maybe, 2 hits for animals, 3 for monsters, and 5 or 6 for bosses.

Your idea about using consecutive attacks to make the de-aggro mechanic work sounds really good in my book!

While I didn't find the randomness of the whip that troublesome for me, I'm all for making a gimmicky weapon more consistent
