The effect of the Wickerbottom's books upgrade is not worth the effort

Recommended Posts

The first one is Horticulture Expanded,comparing with Horticulture Abridged .it can increase the fertility of the land and take care of crops automatically .But in reality, these things can be done by mixing crops and using One-man band.

After the upgrade, the number of ripening plants increased to 15, but the number of times they were used was reduced to 3.The total number of plants that can ripen in one book is 3×15 = 45, which is 5 less than 5×10 = 50 (although it reduces SAN consumption, efficiency is more important than SAN value). As a pregame breeding book, players can pick a better Horticulture Abridged version instead of picking two papyrus to upgrade to Horticulture Expanded.

If restoring the number of uses of Horticulture Expanded to 5 or increasing the amount of ripening to 20, players will be more likely to upgrade the book.

Then Lux Aeterna Redux, this book is mainly used to provide light for crops at night in the early stage of the game that has not obtained Star Caller's staff. Compared with Lux Aeterna, it is twice more durable and can last for one more night. However, this book will be basically useless after obtaining Star Caller's Staff, so if it is just one more night of lighting time, why not choose the cheaper Lux Aeterna?
If increasing the duration of the light to 2.5 days, it will last three nights, making it worth the cost of two papyrus upgrades.

Durability is less of an issue if you keep the books in a bookshelf when not in use. This gives them the opportunity to restore lost durability.

Everybody knows that ,

but I mean the difference in how many times these books take three days to recover 100% durability
