  1. The Wickerbottom animation was lovely and FULL of juicy lore! Hope you watched it before looking at this comic though, even if the spoilers are brief. Also, I stand for deranged pyromaniac Willow, BECAUSE she's awesome.
  2. So...Spoilers for the new Wickerbottom rework, but I just had to discuss it. Can we just talk about this secret room?! The eye symbol?! Is Wickerbottom possibly a part of some secret society? A cult? Or as many people speculated before, a witch of sorts? Anyhow, The fact that she already appears to be aware of the existence of the Constant, knowledge and its creatures, is certainly interesting... To be honest, I already speculated Willow would be behind this. This on the other hand, is some juicy implication to see. This could suggest Willow was at some point involved with dissapearances of the other survivors... Bonus: The Forlorn Doll Easter Egg (Which ironically or not, was the skin that appeared after Willow's rework...)
  3. I don't know about you but I am satisfied with the current state of Wickerbottom refresh: her downsides have been fleshed out - insomnia makes her immune to be forced to fall asleep and her hatred for food spoilage has been significantly more pronounced (she really won't eat spoiled food even if she's starving) she got an additional downside of slightly lower maximum health (it could be even lower, but it's a nice touch) she got another downside of spawning shadow creatures when reading and being insane (sadly some of them despawn after a while) she got 11(!) new books: she got new reading animations for all of her books and most of them look incredibly good (like On Tentacles, those animations are probably the highlight of this refresh for me) she got a Bookcase able to contain all of her Books, which works like an Alchemy Engine also restoring durability to all of her books, indirectly buffing all 6 of her already existing books (most notably Applied Silviculture and On Tentacles) she also got a cute idle animation At this point I am done with all discussions about Lunar Grimoire (I'm sad it went from 1 to a 100 in one hotfix but I'm at peace with its current state) and I only await Wickerbottom's Animated Short and her new Skin Set (out of 12 OG DST characters she's currently tied with Maxwell for the least Skin Sets at 11, for comparison Winona has 15). Edit: since this topic came to life again I updated it with my thoughts regarding recent changes in a comment down below :3 Afterword Are you pleased with the current state of the Wickerbottom refresh? If so what is the highlight of this refresh for you? If not what one thing would you change about it, given such power?
  4. From my testing the radius seems to be +- 3 tiles around wickerbottom i think this could stand to be increased some. In emergency situations where the book would shine most u really want to instantly extinguish as much as u can to avoid re-smoldering and having to read it again. Which brings me to my second problem. Three uses is way too little for this book. Its a tier two book so u definitely do not want to use it up entirely which leaves us with only 2 uses. And unlike Horticulture Expanded where the 2 max uses are somewhat mitigated by the nature of the book (farms are near base -> near bookcase) which means they can be leisurely recharged, Pyrokinetics is used in emergencies which means if the first two reads arent enough ur in trouble unless u went through the hassle of carrying two of these niche books on you. I think the radius should be increased by another tile or two and the number of uses increased to 5. And for the hell of it: make it extinguish the fire inside dragonfly’s lavaes, turning them to stone.
  5. The book is called Birds of the World yet it only pertains to the small flying birds of the Constant. The book currently always spawns birds in a small radius around the reader, i believe this radius could be used to make the book do different things depending on where u read it. Some suggestions to add interactions with the other birds of the world: Pengull Colonies: When cast in Winter close to a coast or on a boat that’s close to a coast; a new pengull colony will jump out of the ocean. Ideally this would allow the spawning of more pengull colonies than the natural cap for each winter up to a new but higher max number. Tallbirds: When cast near Tallbird nests that have neither an egg in it or any Tallbirds tied to it, a new adult Tallbird will be spawned off screen and run towards its nest. Gobblers: When cast near fruit bearing berrybushes it will summon a gobbler from each one. Up to a cap of like 10 or whatever. Or instead a 50% chance to summon a gobbler from however many berrybushes in the radius. Small flying birds: Its current and only functionality would be used when the book is cast without meeting any of the above mentioned requirements.
  6. TL;DR at the end Some info on why it was probably nerfed: A shadow manipulator cost 3 living logs, 7 nightmare fuel, and 1 purple gem. Wickerbottom's Bookcase costs 4 living logs, 4 papyrus(16 reeds), and 1 feathered pencil. Now, why the comparison? With Wickerbottom's bookcase you can craft the everything encyclopedia which allows 3(?) individual shadow manipulator crafts when paired with a science machine. Though this is probably not the only reason for the nerf the comparison is important as they share some materials. The encyclopedia costs: 2 papyrus(8 reeds), 1 electrical doodad Some information of probability for 2 rarest items (not important to read): (Note character exclusive perks/crafts not mentioned as that character may not be available.) Which one is more beneficial to craft first? The pros and cons on which the server will create first a very important as that will define when Wicker may have access to her bookcase. Both items compete for similar resources and share a function. This may decide whether Wicker is left to her own devices if she will or won't need to find her own living logs (provided she doesn't get help, as it may happen in a pub). Why it's more beneficial to craft the Manipulator first with the starting number of living logs: With a single totally normal tree the entire server has access to every shadow tier 2 recipe forever. Every living log after the first (or second for bat bat) can be made into a darksword, bat bat, and whatever else you may want. Gnomes can be killed for living logs and since the manipulator has the lowest requirement of living logs, these can be used for a quicker return from the station. Purple gems have a 2.35% chance to be obtained from 2 graves (red gem+blue gem). This gives them a higher probability than 1.33% chance from spawning a tree guard from an evergreen (more trees do not stack the probability, instead give more chances at the 1.33%) or a .09% chance of spawning 2 poison birchnuts (considering 1 may not drop enough for a manipulator AND certainly not enough for a bookcase). One may also be guaranteed from dragonfly, the ruins and at the latest Klaus. Depending on your play style/luck/skill set this may be easier to obtain than a forth living log. You may even find the ruins looking for the grotto. Nightmare fuel has to be fought for from a very easy to kite enemy, and unlike reeds can be spawned from anywhere. Anyone can craft this, and that player may receive immediate benefits to themselves and their friends. There may not even be a wicker present or the player who finds the first TNT (Totally Normal Tree) may care about their immediate benefits first. To the detriment of Wicker's book case: WIcker may plead with the server to share the living logs with her first. The first set of living logs will either come from a TNT+Gnome, 2-4 gnomes (provided you found the grotto and not the ruins), she/someone wins the guard tree lottery, Wormwood can bare to lose 80hp and forsake his claim at an earlier bat bat, or some other character like Woodie/Maxwell can spawn a tree guard faster. If wicker DOES NOT get cooperation from the server, she has to compete for gnome kills, compete for TNT and/possibly destroy an existing shadow manipulator which may result in accidental griefing ("No I can explain! Half my kit is locked behind these items!"). Should People craft the book case, now everyone is competing against Wicker for the world's initial reeds because she promised tier 2 shadow crafts! (Done via encyclopedias). In this case it's even advantageous for the wicker to craft her bookcase AFTER the manipulator has been made to ease the strain, it's not like the encyclopedia has any early game use anymore anyways. TL;Dr IF Wicker is smart she is better off creating a shadow manipulator first so people don't destroy her bookcase for the materials for a manipulator (also Wicker doing the inverse for her bookcase) or have to create a dozens encyclopedias which will devoid her of reeds. Before, the encyclopedias did not cost as much as the shadow manipulator. Now they cost just as much if not more. This opens the door to Wicker keeping the Living logs to herself and refusing to craft encyclopedias due to also wanting to keep the reeds for herself; after all, what's the point of a bookcase if you're not going to craft many, many books? Otherwise, she will have to ration the encyclopedia (so that it may be repaired) which will gate those crafts behind a single person or time (provided the item you wanted was not crafted). This places more responsibility on the wicker as well as somewhat killing the "early" crafts nature of the book (the materials for the manipulator where probably already to be had and a prestihatator can be crafted alongside gathering the materials for a manipulator). Potential cost changes: 3 Living logs-Similar recipe as the manipulator and the forth living log is no longer comparative to that of a purple gem. Wicker can can craft people the manipulator crafts, at this point the encyclopedia is more of a responsibility than it is a perk as the requirement of the living logs still kills some of it's early game potential. There is also some flexibility in a tree guard providing the materials for both a manipulator and a bookcase (killing the encyclopedia, but it's not that great in this scenario anyways. Unless a purple gem was not found). 2 living logs: Cheaper than a manipulator, destroying a bookcase is no longer advantageous. The encyclopedia now has more early game potential when compared to the shadow manipulator. There is also a good chance a single mush gnome or poison birchnut tree will provide the necessary living logs for a single bookcase; thus giving the encyclopedia a more immediate net gain over the shadow manipulator. "Quick! Everyone give your living logs to Wicker!" There is less strain over competition. With two living logs it is always a win win scenario for everyone on the server, as well as keeping the bookcase around. OR you could also just completely drop the living log cost. Please note: it is 3:30 am for me so excuse any inaccuracies, I will edit them as they are found.
  7. I saw Revoluszyn's post and it made me want to share more ideas for books I think it would be great to see a little more moon magic in Wiker's books, as this character seems to have some interest in this type of magic. and that's why I began to imagine that books could be useful in some way while entering into that kind of magic. They're not solid ideas so I won't defend them, they probably won't work well implemented in the game, I just wanted to share the idea of adding more lunar content to wiker. practical moon magic. a minor version reduced in price and minor benefit seeing what happened with the changes of the lunar grimoire and the different opinions that arose regarding its price or benefit, perhaps a viable option could be to obtain it in a progress of two books, increasing the number of uses of the grimoire perhaps 5 and decreasing the uses of its version reduced to 2, also in its reduced version the affected area could be limited to the location where the book was used or a number of tiles basic astronomy The point of this book would be to be able to control falling meteors as a weapon maybe in area attack, or to a specific area. they could drop small amounts of moonstones. nocturnal poetry a possible extinction of the Sleepytime Stories giving you and your friends a slight sanity boost slow like jelly beans but with sanity spectral transmutation summon some gestalt to help you in battle by sleeping and lightly hurting enemies. maybe useful with large amounts of enemies. I imagined this book as the opposite version of Maxwell's warriors moon biology transform the plants and creatures on the tiles near you into moon versions
  8. The current grimoire recipe is insanely expensive! (and it is very harmful if you steal stones from the archive) I suggest replacing craft with: a lens with yellow stones, moon butterfly It would solve a whole bunch of problems: 1.problems with cheap price. 2.Problems with too expensive price, 3. problems with looting archives, 4 problems with not using these lenses in crafting 5. and ESPECIALLY the problems with the inability to get a book in a world without caves!
  9. I have idea for new books for Wickerbottom. - book of shadows - summons hostile crawling horror or terrorbeak, - book of living - works like living staff, - meteor book - works like infernal staff,
  10. On the contrary to the somewhat negative title of this post it's not another rant about Wickerbottom getting only books and still being boring because of no uNiQuE mEcHaNiC or a post about how Maxwell should suddenly forget how to read/use magic. I enjoy Wickerbottom (as I always have), but all her refresh is targeting is her gameplay potential and she still lacks that little color (probably because of low sanity color cubes, but what do I know...), hence the title. So I suggest a little different book... Inspiration: Do you remember Wurt's short? If not here are crucial parts I base this idea on: Here we can see Wickerbottom reading a book to Wendy and Webby. Here we can see Wickerbottom having a blast reading the book to others. Here we can see it's none of her in-game books, but a book full of suspiciously familiar children stories! And so I want to state a petition to add a Fairy Tale Book, which Wickerbottom could read to her fellow Survivors to soothe their weathered nerves (in a similar manner Walter tells his annoying amazing story near a campfire). Book itself should have a somewhat easy recipe, so usual 2 Papyrus and some Petals and/or Butterfly Wings. Think of this book as a group Straw Roll - an aura of let's say 20-25 Sanity per minute (Straw Roll restores 40 and Walter's storytelling 10, so it's a nice middleground for one use of a Book), which would also help Wickerbottom refill her massive brain (reading this book could also drain hunger to set a lower limit of restored Sanity per use). PS I didn't see anyone mention it before, but new Book Case restoring all books' durability makes it a free sanity station for Wurt, which I consider a fun and, to be honest, quite powerful symbiosis between those two characters. If someone knows numbers of sanity gained or lost by Wurt after reading newly added books I would appreciate such information.
  11. I think a lot of people find Overcoming Arachnophobia (spider book) and Lux Aeterna Redux (tier 2 light book) a bit underwhelming, so here's my suggestion: The tier 2 light book is a bit underwhelming and doesn't add much to the gameplay; it's simply a longer lasting version of the normal light book. I think if it did something more interesting, for example, giving players a 5 minute light emission buff (like glowberries) upon touching the light or something like that, it could be more interesting and fun. The spider book is a fun idea, but simply isn't strong enough to be useful. It would be neat if it stayed forever, and could be removed with a razor. I'm not sure if it slows down bosses as of now, but if it does, maybe having both of these upsides together would be a bit much. I like the Wickerbottom rework overall though, but I feel like it could benefit a lot from making some of the less interesting or simply weak books more interesting (fun). And to be clear, I don't think every single book should be hugely useful, just a small change to the weaker ones could make them fun and useful in at least some situations.
  12. Overcoming Arachnophobia Costs 2 papyrus, 2 spider glands, 6 silk to craft 5 uses, -33 sanity per cast Spawns a 2x2 tile web centered on caster for 30 seconds that significantly slows grounded enemies Love the concept behind this spell, reminds me a lot of the control wizard archetype in Dungeons & Dragons. That said, I cannot think of a single scenario where I'd want to use it in its current state. It's too small to do much against hound waves, they rush through it too quickly. Boss fights generally last longer than 30 seconds; recasting requires you to have an opening, loses DPS and incurs sanity penalties. Events like mooncaller and moonstorms run into both problems, requiring multiple webs to cover the area and recasting to ensure they last long enough. Forums, I ask of you: in what scenarios, if any, would Overcoming Arachnophobia be useful in its current state?
  13. You can create multiple firey pens by setting the pen down and reading again a pen can be used as characters other than wickerbottom it functions identically to a fire staff. In other words its kind of useless outside of commanding your minions and distracting enemies Pyrokinetics explained puts out all types of fires, including endothermic and shadow fires from the night light, providing 10% durability for each grass side note i want fire staffs and by extension the firey pen to get additional uses- fueling campfires (more than just the first throw jeez)? Torch alternative with really long durability? Idk man i just think a magic staff should do more
  14. I think its warranted and it would distinguish it more from the Abridged version. if its able to fully grow farm plants while at the same time tending each stage and adding nutrients to the soil then it should also be able to fully grow simpler crops like stone fruit and banana bushes. H. Expanded only has three uses, actually two if u want to repair it which u do since the recipe is not cheap, so it wouldnt be like before when the cheap 5 use Applied Horticulture could instantly and fully grow as many stone fruit bushes as u wanted with 1 read. Currently having to use up an entire H. Expanded to grow 15 banana bushes feels so bad when at the same time those 3 reads could be used to instantly grow 45 tomatoes + 90 seeds… can this be changed pls?
  15. With this new rework, Wicker has got some extremely useful new books, unfortunatly, there are some real stinkers thrown in the mix, ones I can't find any use to. I'm refering specifically about the two new light books and the "upgrade" to horiculture. I really racked my brain thinking of any use for the two new light books, but i've came to the conclusion that they are 100% useless. The light radius is equivelant to a campfire; they take away a huge chunk of sanity, and correct me if I am wrong, they don't move while on a boat; denying the only use-case where they would be preferable over a campfire. The upgraded version of the light book lasts longer than a campfire, but is still trivial. An easy fix to these problems would be to make the books have a light radius similar to a star-caller's star. Perhaps these books wouldn't feel so under-whelming if they weren't competing with an extremely cheap full-moon book (or just campfires LOL). As for the upgraded version of horticulture, I was expecting to be able to grow giant crops with it. Needless to say I was disappointed after learning that It doesn't do that, and instead grows an extra 5 crops, with the same limitations as the unupgraded version of applied horticulture. I don't see a reason to use this over the unupgraded horticulture, if it were used at all. Giving it the ability to grow giant crops, provided all the prerequisites for growing giant crops were present, would help. Some of the other new books might need a buff, but the ones listed above aren't disputable.

  17. Wickerbottom - BETA Tests Feedback (Tested by players with over 1000+ game hours in realistic scenarios, so even being an early feedback, it wasn’t rushed) Disclaimer: What we had in mind thinking about these changes: Wickerbottom is a hell of a strong character that has a lot of useful resources and mechanics with few penalties compared to how others are penalized for using their perks, since what she does directly affects the whole environment and players, and are not just some boosts to herself. The access to these tools, currently, are bluntly so easy to handle that makes all the effort to make anything else with other methods just pointless compared to how Wicker can just do stuff “for free”, and for this game, this level of easy doesn’t properly translates to the “Don’t Starve Experience” fun in our opinion, it just makes practically any struggle disappear. So, with that in mind, those are the changes we thought that could be applied: The Burnout Meter Book Adjustments DISCLAIMER AGAIN: That's it, ! ps: Oh, and also, using Pyrokinetics Explained is causing game crashes. ps.2: The biggest issue is also that she lacks a unique gameplay for her own. All she does is for everyone and never only for her, basically just a resource station.
  18. So, I would assume, like many others, that Maxwell and Wilson would be the last two reworks as they're the (formerly) main antagonist and protagonist of the series, and Klei would most likely want to do something special for their "rework wave grand finale". (Let's hope they'd at least give minor tweaks to some of the less popular characters by the end of it, much like how they just did with Wurt and Wormwood, which was great - but I'm getting off topic here.) Which means that next up should be Wickerbottom. Klei had added some nice features lately like the Compendium which includes Plant information and the Cook Book. So we can gather data throughout gameplays about dishes and plants, which leaves fauna for last. Hostile mobs and helpful ones alike. I think Wickerbottom, as a knowledgeable librarian about everything and anything, would be the perfect candidate for exploring the "new" fauna in the content and keeping tracks & records about it. I'd love to see her getting something similar to how WX & Jimmy work, but not quite the same. 1.))Perhaps she could start with her own book of sorts? Where she'd keep track of things? It could be a fun sort of gameplay feature, where you have to research mobs doing specific things, at specific times of the day/year, and thus you gather more data about them. (Such as max health, drops, and so on.) Could also make the Bush hat and Slurtle shell *way* more useful. 2.)Maybe Wicker will have an easier craft for her own version of the Feathered pen (which could also be used for scribbling minisigns, of course), heck maybe she could even start with her own "modern" ink pen that has no durability. It doesn't offer much- but it's much like Willow's lighter - exclusive crafts that give survivors some more personality. 3.)Maybe even Wickerbottom should be able to share information with other survivors much more easily. (Maybe easier map share without the cartographer's desk, sharing unlocked blueprints, letting survivors see sanity increase and reduce auras visibly, revealing everybody's location on the map for a short period of time, et cetera.) Also, an unpopular anecdote I've brought before - I think it would be a great opportunity to finally introduce some form of health bar/mob health display in vanilla Don't Starve with a toggle ,of course, for players who wish to keep the challenge. I think it would only be fair that after we "Get to know" the mob, we could get some nice perk. (I assume it would be way more useful for bosses and Beefalos rather than just any mob. But still quite the improvement, especially for console players who cannot even use such mods.) Wicker's rework might let us kill two birds(or more) with one book, and introduce both a QoL + Rework update at the same time. Let me know what do you think about this idea down below.
  19. Let's play - Opinions on Wickerbottom - Episode 1: This characters perks are good Wickerbottom's perks are really good. Especially starting with Tier 1 science. First of all, being able to craft a backpack at the start of the game is possibly the best possible thing known to man, and it also saves resources by not having to craft a science machine to make an alchemy engine, and anything that saves on chopping trees is a good thing in my eyes. It does get kind of useless later in the game, but her second perk makes up for that. Her second perk, being able to make books, more than makes up for the first perk's uselessness in mid/lategame. She also starts with 2 papyrus, which is exactly enough to make a book if you have the other materials necessary. All of her books consume sanity to use, but we'll get to that later. The End is Nigh! is a book that Which summons lightning and used to be an insane combo with WX78, but that mechanic doesn't exist anymore so there aren't that many uses for the book anymore. Horticulture Abridged will grow all the crops in your farm, but you need a one man band in order to talk to them and keep them happy. Wormwood in bloom might also work, but you're never going to find both a Wicker and a wormwood in the same lobby, especially not a public servers. Pretty sure this also grows berry bushes. Applied Silvaculture (probably butchered the name) grows everything else, from twigs, to grass, to trees. Applied Horticulture was the farming book from before the reap what you sow update, and it grew everything. Trees, farm plot crops, berry bushes, grass and twigs, probably the best book she had at the time. Don't get me wrong, Silvaculture and Abridged Horticulture are still good books, but the original horticulture was the best non combo book at her disposal. Sleepytime Stories sends mobs around you to sleep. It also works on players in PvP, making her S tier there, but no one plays PvP so who cares. It is most commonly used in combination with Birds of the World summons birds near you. That's really it. Crows and either Redbirds or Snowbirds. Maybe even the yellow birds that I forgot the name of and refuse to look up. Probably summons Puffins in the water. The most common use for this book is to summon the birds, send em to sleep, and farm naughtiness points to grind out Krampus sacks. I cannot think of another use for this, it's literally just birds. On Tentacles is another summoning book, and it summons a bunch of tentacles around you, and that's it. You can use this for farming beequeen, or griefing. It's just tentacles. Let's play - Opinions on Wickerbottom - Episode 2: This characters downsides are also good Wickerbottom's downsides are an inability to sleep (unless forced asleep by another player, mandrake, bearger yawn, or a lunar thing) and spoiled food having increased penalties for her, making her combo with WX78 even more powerful back then due to his immunity to spoiled or stale food. These downsides are really good and compliment her upsides well. Sure, you can make a bunch of food, but if it stales, you're in trouble. Sure, you can make more food, or use another of your books, but that requires sanity, which you can't easily regain by sleeping. It's a good balance. Let's play - Opinions on Wickerbottom - This is the part where I rant about her problems The big problem with Wicker isn't that she's not powerful enough or she's too powerful, the problem is that there's just not enough to her books. Yeah, she has 2 good ones in silvaculture and horticulture, and the sleepytime stories one is just a panflute, you can't go wrong with a panflute, but the other three books are just so situational it's ridiculous. First of all, The End is Nigh. Lightning has no use (i think) in this game after the WX78 rework, since you can't overcharge with it anymore, all it can really do is provide a little light with the lightning rod, and that's it. On Tentacles is only good for farming and griefing, one of which should never be done, and the other is worthless because willow is a better griefer in every way possible. (/sarcasm, please don't grief,) Birds of the World is similarly niche because it has to have another book to even be useful, and the uses it does have is feather, meat, and krampus sack farming, and Klaus is better and just more fun for sacks (provided you're in winters feast and don't have to wait for every winter to kill him) And you could make an argument that characters like Wolfgang or Wigfrid or Wendy are niche because all they do is kill things, or all Woodie and Max do is gather resources, but like, first of all, you're going to be killing things the entire game, and you'll always need resources, and second, these things don't take resources after every five enemies killed, or trees chopped, because Wicker's books have 5 uses, and then you're back to the swamp getting reeds (a hellish experience if you don't have a reed trap), or back to the beefalo for poop, or the birdcage for eggs, or whatever. Making wicker better would just be give her more books. Just give her more books. That's it. That's really all you need to do, just give her more books. I really can't think of anything else. Maybe make the books cheaper or give them more uses, I don't know. She just needs more books. Too Ranty;Didn't Read: Wickerbottoms books are too situational, but other than that she's a good character.
  20. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to ask where in a mod one can find the tag specifying the character as a reader of books (Wickerbottom, Maxwell...) or monster (Webber). The premises are simple: I want to have more control over my RPG servers, namely PCs being able to eventually learn to read. If it was possible, I could simply temporarily unlock book-reading to the others, possibly even customs, if plot demands so (no crafting, though, unless it's inherently linked to book-reading; I don't need it and Wicker still needs to be around to craft the tomes). From what little I was able to find out on the subject, there is some tag which makes Wicker and Max capable of using books rather than just examining them. Possibly something along the lines of: inst:AddComponent("reader") I know a mod which can make pigmen neutral to Webber, effectively removing his monster status (although any modded pigs still hate him, just like the rest of animals), but there is no explanation how to mimick it. Would someone please help me, a complete ignorant when it comes to DST modmaking, learn if it's possible to add the perk of book-reading to other characters? Thank you kindly in advance.
  21. Somewhere, in a world much like the one in Don't Starve lies characters who resemble the ones from the game we know and love. But past that appearance, almost nothing is the same. There personalities are opposite of the ones we know! (To an extent) Ask these characters a question! The ones you can talk to are: Wilson Willow Wolfgang Wendy WX78 Wickerbottom Woodie Wes Maxwell Sorry! No ROG characters. There will be references to ROG though. In fact, one character heavily relies on ROG logic. Please no direct shipping questions. (No 'Wilson! Go out with Willow' or 'Wolfgang! How is your love life with Wickerbottom', ect.) Relationships are okay though. (Ex. 'Wendy, how is your relationship with Maxwell?)
  22. I've been livestreaming Don't Starve quite a bit lately, and have uploaded some of the footage to Youtube. Not sure how interesting it is, since it's largely unedited and in big chunks, but I figured maybe someone might find it useful or interesting. I try to be informative as I play, so if you're a newer player you can see how I set up a base in under 20 days that allows me to survive over 80 days and complete my Teleportato. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2e8eGLT0_g Part one is here, the rest of that session is on my channel also.If you'd like to see more of that playthrough let me know, I still have the raw footage from my livestream that I could put up. I'm currently working on the next world, continuing on with all of my supplies from the first.
  23. Wickerbottom's Scientific findings: “Koalefanta Proboscidea”- Proportions: The large footprints show the large size of the Koalefanta Proboscidea. The largest living Terrestrial animal, the amount of meat once killed, indicates the magnitude of the scope of the Koalefanta Proboscidea. The exact size is unknown due to the unwillingness of the Koalefanta Proboscidea, to cooperate. Auricle (Ears): The large Pinnae (Ear Flaps) may help the Koalefanta Proboscidea sense the coming of myself and making a getaway. The Pinnae, also contains capillaries, or blood vessels. These let warm blood flow into the capillaries, may help the Koalefanta Proboscidea survive and keep the necessary temperature, during the course of the season (for the purposes of these findings) called “winter” (a name subject to change). Because of the size of the Auricle, it is able to hear at low frequencies. Proboscis (Trunk): A intermingling of the nose and upper lip. This contains up to the amount of 150000 separate muscle fascicles, and within that is almost no bones and at most very little fat. The paired muscles are consisted of superficial and the internal. (The dorsas, laterals and ventrals for the superficial, and the transverse and radiating muscles are divided up in the internal.) The proboscis for the Koalefanta Proboscidea has many functions including breathing, the art of sound, grasping, touching and of course olfaction. The sense of smell is better then that of a Hound, shockingly enough and may also alert the Koalefanta Proboscidea of myself coming near it. This makes it 10 times as hard to get good enough information to include in my findings. A fascinating thing about the trunk is that it is a product in the production of the vests, that help keep myself, in the respectable warm temperatures during the colder season of Winter (Which of course is subject to change). The Psychology of the Koalefanta Proboscidea: The Koalefanta Proboscidea has a tendency to flee as the appearance of myself. This may be due to instinctual reaction due to my bad tendencies when faced with a large meaty animal (Roasted up and fed to the immediate concerns of my stomach, or myself). The differences in the appearance of the Koalefanta Proboscidea, due to the changing of the immediate season: The changing of the skin color is still in doubt and any immediate knowledge can be contested. My personal Hypothesis that because of the rapid change in temperature, it may cause a thickness of the coat, and so a also changing of the color perception seen in the Occipital of myself.
