Wigfrid suggestions

Hello everyone at Klei entertainment, 

 

First off, I love what you're doing by revisiting other characters and I would like to contribute my two cents on it. If you intend to keep balancing and tweaking these characters, might I suggest that Wigfrid gets a little bit of a buff. I loved the Wigfrid refresh, but I found that some of the songs lacked use that other songs had. Furthermore, I feel as though restraining her abilities to boss battles may be a bit limiting for her character. I would like to address my reasoning for the Buff of Wigfrid because I genuinely want to see all of these wonderful characters balanced and working together. As of late I feel that Wigfrid has fallen behind in the spotlight due to more powerful characters getting more powerful abilities, such as Wortox's map-hop or Wanda's alarming clock. I DO NOT want you to redo her character. I love the way she is right now, but adding a few more songs, tweaking the inspiration meter's charge and getting rid of fireproof falsetto in place for another song would really add to the depth of her character. I have a few suggestions as to what the old songs could be tweaked and what new songs could be added. The first suggestion being that the bel canto of courage will make followers/allies around wigfrid immune to epic roars such as from beequeen, toadstool and the like. This is because it halves negative sanity auras and it would make sense to have another benefit for followers because they don’t have a sanity stat, it would also make sense from a character standpoint, since valkyries usually come in armies or at least small groups. My second suggestion lies in the fireproof falsetto, and its replacement. This is because it essentially does what willow does, grants fire immunity. I can only name a few enemies that use fire in the game, and unless you plan to add many more (which if you do then that’s cool too) then i'm afraid that this song is near useless. My suggestion is to transform the fireproof falsetto into fire-hearted falsetto where instead of resisting fire damage, it would inspire others to attack more vigorously and ferociously, thus increasing their damage by 15% and other Wigfrid player’s by 5%. I know Warly already does this, but at the same time, this would be an AOE spell and it would have less of an effect than Warly’s spices, it would also require a dark sword to craft. The next song I would like to see implemented is “defensive durge” as the name implies, it would raise the damage reduction for nearby players and allies by 15% and 5% for other wigfrid players, it would require a thulecite crown to craft. There are some other ideas I have, but I don’t want this post to get longer than it already is.
