to add onto this I think it's pretty unbalanced that characters can intentionally get hit by darkness to achieve low sanity, if you get hit by darkness characters should get a light aura around them to prevent them from being hit for at least another 15 seconds

what the clowns above are trying to say is there's alot of ways to undo your sanity, to the point where it's essentially intended.

there's no real benefit to being insane constantly and you do risk spawning beaks during various non-shadow fights, so really it's their loss.
