  • Maxwell now suffers 2.5 times the sanity costs as Wickerbottom when reading Wickerbottom’s books.

Changes

• Wortox
  • Wortox will be able to Soul Hop to past explored locations through the Map.
    • The cost of souls is proportional to the distance travelled.
    • There are visual indicators to show cost increases.
  • Wortox will now be able to Soul Hop a second time for free if done within a short time of the last.
  • Wortox will get slightly more hunger from eating souls.
  • Wortox will gain a small amount of sanity for being healed by a soul.
  • Wortox Souls now only heal hurt players and have more diminishing returns when healing groups of hurt players.
• The Wortox who deals the killing strike is guaranteed at least one soul.
  • This is intended to help prevent fighting for nearby souls when souls are being created but prevents boss soul drops from being fully claimed

I'm really enjoying the direction klei is taking to get the best possible result in their updates, but I have a few things to add:

- Pyrokinetics Explained, is a good book to be used mainly in the summer or in cases of fire accidents, but the existence and use of the Fiery Pen doesn't make any sense, it has negligible damage and using fire against creatures has never been effective

- Overcoming Arachnophobia, I don't see myself using this book for anything interesting other than very specific things like slowing down the toadstool, but either way it would still be a waste seeing as it doesn't last very long and the boss has ~50,000+ health, so useless

- Lux Aeterna Redux, a complete waste of resource as Star and Moon caller's staff are far superior and helpful. The lux aeterna (not redux) seems to be more useful in occasions like cleaning ruins, enabling us to carry armor without worrying about luminosity.

- Apicultural Notes, it was good but it was nerfed too heavily, as the bees would only be useful on only a few occasions like bosses that don't have area damage.

- Lunar Grimoire, an amazing book, it really deserved a nerf but it was poorly applied, since the damage on public servers can be very big, because the book needs an iridescent gem, with that people can steal the existing ones in the Archives harming everyone.

- On Tentacles, this needs a modification to make more sense, as when summoning tentacles they can attack Wicker, sometimes even before the animation ends. Perhaps the essential thing would be to allow a concentrated invocation in the desired area

- The end is Nigh, completely useless and meaningless, please modify this book, it has a lot of potential. Has no target and no pattern.

I think it's a little late to give suggestions but I expected something more, like very useful spells, like a book that freezes some mobs around, it would be useful to help the team with rounds or things like that. Anyway, thank you for being so thoughtful and careful with your community, you are doing a great job
