Some suggestions for Wickerbottom rework.

Well To begin with, I think Wickerbottom is on the right track. and as some comments mention, you can feel that something is missing.
I propose that wickerbottom should have a research job to craft his books, like Wx78 when analyzing mobs.

Wickerbottom could have a notebook or Diary, where she can examine items related to his books, and then collect the information in the bookcase. Maybe that would make it a more practical and fun work.

or also a kind of minigame where you must take the materials to the bookcase and analyze with a magnifying glass to unlock the recipes of the books.

something I was thinking and also saw in another post, is that the Lunar Grimoire should change to a full moon with one reading, with a second reading change to a new moon.

Horticulture, Expanded
the potential is wasted, and although the nerf to Horticulture applied was fine at the time. now people know how to take care of farms, this book can be dedicated to another style of game, for people who are not interested in dedicating themselves to a farm.
maybe this book should only affect food sources other than farms. with a limit of 40 bushes, lichen, rock fruit, etc. (just an example)

or another way to improve it, is to go to the next phase of plant growth for every 1 reading. to make giant vegetables.

Lux Aeterna redux.
I don't find much sense in this book compared to its standard version, even maybe it's a redundancy.
I think we could exchange the materials, Lux aeterna redux (Papyrus, light bulbs and fireflies) and Lux aeterna (redux version, feather pencil and papyrus)
the redux version should work as is. While the standard Lux Aeterna should have a small sanity recovery for people who are inside light area.

I really like that pyrokinetic explained gives you a rechargeable damage dealing fire feather pen. It would be cool if other books give you similar tools.

- Lux aeterna redux/Lux aeterna could give you a light feather pen that could shine light from your inventory (freeing a hand/head/body sloth), that you'll recharge by standing in the light Pilar summoned from the books.

- Lunar grimoire could give you a moon feather pen to transform food, plant or mobs into their lunar variants. It would be recharged by using the book.

Just some ideas.
