Some want them hard and to stay where they are now and others want them scaled down. What if we could do both? They have a pirate flag, why not use it (other than for the hat)? I see the potential to make it to where if your flying their pirate flag (maybe have it attached to the mast) they will be less likely to attack or maybe not at all??? Because when your flying their flag they see you as pirates. We could make the flag be removable so we have a little more control over the timing of the raids (think CK fight) We could go further and say that you have to steal one of their boats and fly the flag if the prior was too easy. Maybe the flag could get damaged over time so you would need to fight them for another? I think this would make the inexperienced or early on in-game players commit to the resources needed to fight the raid if it had the potential to make the ocean a safer place to go Any ideas? However if you turn to Wonkey and use one of their boats it would be neat if you could somehow become and actual pirate, live on the island and maybe get more treasure hunts from the queen, or even rebuild their huts and hire a small monkey crew for your ship that helps you paddle. That would be so cool lol! I don't necessarily think that ppl would get the flag then not ever take it down. At least I wouldn't and I don't think the ppl that want the pirate raids to stay the same would either. We could always add flag deterioration so you would be forced to fight the raids again. You would have to be strategic while fighting CK or around seaweed's to time it right so your flag wouldn't run out in the middle of it...
