griefers in the endlees server

hello, there are griefers in the Carrot Bunch (endless) - South America - Public server, they are in 2, and we cant start a vote to rollback and win, bc at that moment we were 2 and they were also 2, what should we do? there are a way to ban them? or to rollback to the beginning of the day 552? Can someone help?

Sadly that's the problem of un-moderated endless servers.

The main ways we (the DST Argentina team) found to protect our playthrough on admin-less servers were:

1. Make a discord for the good, trustable players so when these things happen we all jumped in and get enough people to make a rollback or a kick
2. Never make bases that are easy to find, or in common locations (at spawn portal, pig king, dragonfly desert or Oasis). Griefers are almost always very bad at the game, so if locating the base is hard enough they will most likely die trying, or give up and leave.
3. Always build a decoy base that looks good enough and is easy to find, so griefers can burn that one instead. Pretend to feel pain, like if they kicked you in your kidney when you find them burning the decoy base. They usually leave if they feel they "angered" people enough.
4. If everything above fails, have methods readily available to kill people (EG: waterballoons)

Final tip: in unmoderated servers, griefers are absolutely inevitable. It's only a matter of "when" and how prepared you are to deal with the situation. So think of them as part of the game, like another boss.
Doing pretty megabases Glermz style is only for private or moderated servers. Klei pubs are to try out new strategies, and meet new people to play with, mostly.

thx for the tips, for now on i will carry water ballons with me, and look for unnusual places to put my things and call that base.

Go for: one of the Moon Archipelago islands, Pearl's isle, one of the Waterlogged biomes (sea base), a corner of Ocean where you plant some Above-Average Tree Trunk tree(s) (another sea base type), Cave Swamp (if present), Wilds biome/entrance to Ruins, Ruins Village biome surrounded by fences (with fire-farm setup for Shadow Monkeys), entrance to Labyrinth, or an Atrium base. Can also be some remote place at end of a Guano Biome if industrious enough. Try to build minimally. Selecting one of listed locations will eliminate vast majority of grifers' detrimental impact on your play sessions. Also don't forget: community dedicated servers exist in quite high numbers nowadays (vanilla and modded). Gl!
