IssamIB
My game lags even when offline so the internet is not the issue , the more i play the more it lags but i noticed something weird , if i play a new world it doesn't lag (so its not a problem of caves) but when i play the world that has reached 2000 days it lags alot although it shows 50_60 fps which means its not fps problem either , I tried disabling mods so its not a problem of mods . My pc is capable of running high end games so its not a problem of hardware . So what is the cause of the lag I'm confused ? The lag increases over time so i have to exit the game every ten minutes . . . .
i think it may be cause lots of rot, twig from twig trees, and junk items accumulate over the days. try getting a mod which cleans these items every few days
IssamIB
I've tried the auto stacking mod and this seems to enhance the lag just a little bit which means we are in the right direction .
. . .
if you are using cave world you can also try use this mod to get rid of some lag (sometimes it dont work for everyone but worked for me) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2657513551 you can also try putting some world generation options lower like a smaller world and resources regrowth slower. getting a mod which despawns rot after few days is good too.
