No option for lots or tons? And world size is only default or big

Recommended Posts

Just realised in world customisation that the options only go as high as 'more' rather than lots or tons, and even the more option isn't that much more.

Also the world size only goes up to big and after creating a world its not that much more than default.

Just wondering if anyone knows whether this is permanent or if theyre gonna include these other options further down the line?

They will not, Not even the PlayStation and Xbox versions have these features- The gaming consoles aren’t powerful enough to pull it, and the Switch is the least powerful console of the group (your even limited to only 4 players when on Xbox/PS it’s 6)

These are the sacrifices people have to make to play games on Consoles, but if you have friends to play with or just enjoy your Console- having to lose a few things should be worth it.

Klei devs have stated once that the PS5 and Series X/S would be capable of the same options as the PC version (minus mods) However- Due to some issue with Sony, they aren’t allowed to let the PS5 use any features for the game Ps4 can’t also use. (still waiting to here more news about this someday Klei..)

Im no game designer, I don’t really understand it.. but all you need to know is that the Switch isn’t powerful enough to pull what your asking of it.

But on the plus side- You have a Portable version of DST.
