I realize this is a constraint within the simulation (that it consumes a certain "packet size") but please just add a tiny condition "if resource in inventory can be consumed by the building and quantity is lower than packet size, delete it" Having stray tiles of polluted oxygen in my base is an unreasonably huge annoyance for me and I spend way too much time chasing them down with dupes building tiles until I randomly hit that one tile to remove it Love the game, keep being great! I dont know the exact number but u should never see as little as 1g beside a 1kg tile.
