voidfoo
Does sleet wheat absorb or delete the heat of the supplied water? Or to put it differently, does it matter what temperature the water is that I supply to my sleet wheat hydroponic tile? Thanks
MinhPham
While sleet wheat don't care about water/dirt temperature and doesn't really conduct heat (since their mass is only 1kg), farming tiles does, especially hydroponic tiles because they are made from metal and constantly exchange heat with whatever they stored. It will cost less power if the hydroponic tiles are made from gold amalgam (which have poor heat conductivity compared to other metal ores), and you only cool the air on the sleet wheat tiles, ideally CO2 since they conduct heat poorly.
