juni3227
I use that very often after getting the nuclear reactor turned on. It is the best way to support far away colony that lacks essential resources like food, water, and oxygen. Also, I could shoot some very important ingredient like fiber and plastic, or enriched Uranium that is just too small to launch a rocket. But there is one really annoying feature that is lacking. You can not empty this thing. I can only shoot by 1kg incremental, but there is always few hundred grams of reminder that messes with my planning. This is one of the end tier station, and it can not be empty unless deconstucting and reconstructing. I do not mind if it needs a dupe, but really, that should be given. DolphinWing
Usually I will add meter valves before interplanetary launcher. For solid I will also add a conveyor chute next to it for dropping exceeded resources in the rails. But sometimes even I set exact amount in meter valves, it still left very small amount of resources (few mgs, etc). I hope Klei can fix it. Add a "Empty storage" button is also welcome. mfd
The UI says "minimum launch mass", but it is actually "exact launch mass". If the contents is 100.03kg and "minimum launch mass" is set to 100kg, it should launch all the contents instead of leaving 0.03kg of the contents, I think.
