Zarquan Posted December 8, 2021 Share Posted December 8, 2021 One thing that really bugs me in ONI is almost every time I want to build my first conveyor rails, my mechatronics engineer (which I usually only have one of at this point) won't build it due to priorities. My mechatronics engineer either has it as a random skill from the printing pod or is an operator/engineer with a focus of operating. I either have to give them a building priority (which could make them prioritize building over operating tasks) or use yellow alert to get the dupe to build the rails. If build jobs that require mechatronics engineering also used operating as a priority, this process would be a lot smoother. Personally i`d prefer if the rails as a spammable item didn`t require mechatronic skill (only the loader and auto sweeper would). But it goes deeper. It would make much more sense if mechatronic required the build skill instead of the deliver skill.
