Is there a way to revert back to say Rev. 481207?

Just curious if there is a way to back up to an older version after the fact. I realize now that I can turn update off of automatic and copy files ahead of updates, but is there a way to go back when I have not made a back up? Is there a place online that stores past versions of the game, or can reverting done through Steam?

Afaik there's no way to revert back to tolder versions of the game, aside from questionable sites that host cracked versions of the game... and imo there's no point in reverting to an older version. You can't play on pretty much any server and possibly have to face various incompatibilities due to missing skins, etc.
