lich46
I can't just load sleet wheet into cargo bay because the grains are "Cooking ingredients", not "Seeds". The cargo filter has no "Cooking ingredients" options and any solid of that type just get stuck in the loader (that also happens to Pincha peppernut). Nosh bean is OK as it's both a "Cooking ingredients" and a "Seed". I hope to make the grains cooking ingredients to keep the consistency. Solid rocket port unloader can't also unload cooking ingredients (if they were loaded), but conveyor loader fitting is OK Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/135190-cargo-bay-cannot-store-sleet-wheet-grain-dlc/ Share on other sites
NeoDeusMachina
Like other food items and cooking ingredients, sleet wheat can be transported inside rocket "orbital cargo modules" - you can fit 6000kg in there (until this get changed, if it ever does). Pincha pepper plants are different from sleet wheat and nosh beans - they have "seeds" and also "nuts" (the actual cooking ingredient that spoils). I never understood why it was impossible to store food and cooking ingredients inside regular storage/smart bins, or cargo modules. Maybe it is just a balance thing. Fridges store 100kg, bins 20000kg. It would be nice to see this get polished before SO! gets released. It would make it more coherent. Either remove nosh beans from seeds, or add sleet wheat to seeds in addition to being a cooking ingredient. Pincha peppernuts and seeds should stay the way they are right now. It would be great if the rocket cargo modules, loaders/unloaders, and fittings all accepted cooking ingredients and food items. It would make transporting food via rocket much more enjoyable and require a lot less micro management.
