Deconstruct tool

Please make "Buildings only" the default setting of deconstruction tool when used on main game screen (when no overlays are active).

I dunno about the default, but being able to deconstruct tiles or ladders without deconstructing pipes, wires, etc would be tremendously useful. Otherwise I have to manually select each one and click the Deconstruct button.

Hey @meekay,

Buildings setting in deconstruct tool does exactly that.

However by default it is left on All - which deconstructs, well, everything. Wires, pipes etc.

"Buildings" settings only marks tiles, ladders and buildings (like toilets) for deconstructions, leaving pipes, wires, rails etc not marked.

 

Having the deconstruct tool by default on "All" is confusing.

Ugh, I've been playing for almost a year and have never used that widget. Or even looked at it. Thanks.

Or, simply have it actually remember the setting when you load a game. In stead of resetting it and having me deconstruct pipes and spill liquid everywhere every, single, time.
