setting to clear new building notification after research

After a newly discovered research allows a new building a little exclamation point appears on the building interface, which can only be cleared by selecting the new building type. Rarely have I found this to be useful past the early learning stages of the game, but frequently it's an announce to click through several buildings after every research completes. Could this be turned into a global option so that the notifications can be turned off?

Thanks, this looks like exactly the kind of setting I'd love to see in the game. I try to stay away from mods, but recently got addicted to pliers and I'll give this one a shot.

If this gets into the game I'd say a toggle could be set for the level of help a user wants with each run. Maybe show the toggle at the start of each run alongside the Survival/No Sweat option or in dupe selection near the colony name. The game should remember the setting from the last game and allow shifting it from the in-game settings menu.

"Tutorial" is the default option to start with and gives all the notifications, research notifications, achievements, etc.

"Normal" suppresses the tutorial notifications (e.g. how to schedule, temperature, etc.) but leaves all other notifications on.

"Veteran" also suppresses more e.g. new building availability and new materials in the resource list

"No Notifications" shuts off all alerts except emergencies like trapped, can't reach food, wet themselves, etc.
