rkr87
Hi all, I'm fairly new to ONI (started playing around a week ago), I've been doing lots of reading today in relation to various mechanics (pipe priorities, liquid locks and infinite storage etc). After some trial and error I combined some of the things I learned to create this design, I thought it was worth sharing; https://imgur.com/a/WO67k7w#uUxpeQu If anyone has any suggestions on what I could do to improve upon the design I'm all ears. Jann5s
looking at the ratio of views/replies I'm guessing that ppl can't be bothered to open your imgur link. I propose you put the images here such that people actually have a look. thegroundbelow
I've actually been using your improved design (the one with the reservoirs) in a survival game, and my only complaint is that there's not really any point in having two liquid pumps if you're going to just have one output line. Yeah, it'll let you get every little bit of liquid out of a storage, but I'm not really bothered by having a few hundred grams of whatever left behind. Having just a single input line for every storage can become a real bottleneck, so in my version, I also added additional bridges between the liquid mechanical filters, and a second liquid vent in each liquid storage, which allowed me to run an additional "direct input" line into each storage. Great for putting in "pure" output, like oil wells and cool steam vents, without having to saturate that single filtered input line. Here's a screenshot of the changes I made to the plumbing: Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/134328-compact-dupe-accessible-pressure-proof-power-free-and-insulated-infinite-storage/#findComment-1511847 Share on other sites
