Either hide in-game chat messages from players blocked through Steam, or add a blocking feature to DST

The title pretty much says it all. Most of my interactions with other DST players are perfectly amicable, but there's a few exceptions, and I would like a way to pull the plug on rude strangers insulting me that just mutes them on my end and doesn't require everyone else on the server (possibly including the offending player's jerk friends, if they came in as a group) to agree to votekick them. There's been at least one case where I went to open the person's Steam profile and block them only to discover that they were already blocked from a previous encounter and it just didn't do anything.
