Craft orders "Craft X until Y in storage"

we should be able to place orders in machines so duplicants start crafting them until you have X amount in storage and stop when we reach the Y amount so when we use them (for example refined metals) we always have something in storage without having to look at the number or make another crafting order

We can do it already. You can use smart storage bins, set the amount you want in storage, and it will send an automation signal when full. You can then use that signal to disable your crafting station. When dupes will use some of the material, the smart bin will reactivate your crafting station until it has the amount you want in it again. It can be done with various degrees of automation and efficiency, up to you!
