How do I stop my dupes from dropping things from INSIDE transit tubes?

I want to use transit tubes because they're cool, but I am being driven absolutely insane by the amount of stuff my dupes are dropping from inside tubes and having that stuff fall somewhere (into a tank of magma, or plastic on a surface hot enough to melt it, for example) with the only reason being I believe a schedule/job change happened inside the tube? At this point I'm considering abandoning tubes all together and just using ladders and poles unless there is a solution to this.

This is sadly the way it usually works. In base I prioritize building mostly vertically with a sweepy at the bottom for dropped food and outside routes might have the autosweeper/loader combo someday in the future. Transit tubes are power hungry, so do take note of that.
