Resource list controls inaccessible

In the new update, July 15, the resources list is no longer broken up by category. Unfortunately, at my display config (3840x2160, UI scale 150%), only a portion of the resources are listed, and the controls are off the bottom of the screen and I cannot get to them, unless I shrink the UI scale to a level that it's uncomfortable to play. 

Please consider moving the resources list controls to the TOP of the list, or add a scroll bar to the list, or allow us the option to use the old collapsible list.

I think i know what is the problem. The old system showed all resources collapsed into cathegories. The new one shows only the ones you selected plus ones just discovered which are marked as "new". What happened here is that all resources are now new and you can`t click the "clear new" button cause it`s outside the screen. After a few cycles this will be gone and you will have to manually select the resources you want to keep track of.

Second on this. I was hoping to see the total available calories for all edibles but the only option is to display each and every single edible item. Without opening the whole resource panel that is. I'm hoping I could toggle "total" items for quick display too as with each item.

Click on any "NEW". The Resources dialog appears. For each resource click is's circle icon twice to remove it from the resource list.

Oh I found the option I was looking for under the diagnostics part 

For edibles that is. But I still wish I can lump together resources like ore into one category under the visible resource list.
