dark1uck Posted July 12, 2021 Share Posted July 12, 2021 I'm here with a few questions related to dst dedi server backup, usually what I do to backup the server is simply zipping mydediserver folder and rename it within the save location. so my question is: is it safe to create the backup while the server is running? Daniel86268 Posted July 13, 2021 Share Posted July 13, 2021 Yes, it's safe to backup/zip/copy your saves your while the server is running, unless it saving in that moment. (you know, that ingame morning lagspike save) I'd just keep two or three versions in your backup, in case you do happen to hit the moment where the server decided to save.
