ttonk81 Posted May 11, 2021 Share Posted May 11, 2021 I am having some troubles with my server where I can not get it to query on steam servers and also the in game serer list does not show the servers ping, it just shows ??? I have tried multiple different guides to setup the servers but get the same issue every time. The server it self works fine, its just not querying on steam servers or returning the ping. I am running it on a dedicated server located at a data centre so no port forwarding is needed on my router The firewall on the machine is also turned off so in no way affecting it. I have other game servers (not DTS) that can query on steam servers fine with no issues and also ping ok. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? You can either try pinging the steam servers, and/or contact the datacenter provider to figure our what could be happening. Maybe they have another big firewall in front of their entire Datacenter to prevent the worst, which just happens to trigger on the steam query servers you are trying to connect to.
