Space stations and abandoned space stations in the new DLC?

Recommended Posts

what if we can find and make space stations? Maybe find an abandon station floating in space and then you land on it and fix it up and use it as a refill station for your ships, a bigger room for your dupes and also send down rovers the you can unlock the blueprint to build new ones and add better parts. The downside will be it takes longer to arrive to asteroids and takes 3 dupes to pilot it. i personally find this interesting and allows movable bases other than the rocket piloting rooms that i would love to see in the game. I would love to hear the devs and other peoples opinions on it.

There were 2 suggestions about space stations so far:

1. A space destination like a planetoid/moonlet that`s an abandon and damaged space station with some mechanical stuff inside but partially smashed by asteroids so yo got some minable iron and plastic as well as broken glass and steel scrap.

2. A deployable module that creates a space station location in space. Basically a floating landing pad that can be your destination and expanded to a limited amount. Kinda like the command module exploit works.

None of them mentioned that the station can move. But in both the station requires resource delivery to them so they can serve as a refueling base.

abandoned space station and "partially smashed by asteroids" mean base already contain some kind of reusable and non-smashed stuff, like living quarters, kitchen, coal generator and so on. It would be nice to find base which you can restore, and not just deconstruct for materials.
