Boringo Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 dedicated server i am currently trying to run a dedicated server i was just wondering can it run in the background when i close the dedicated server window/app (i run my server on a tool that i have when i bought the dst) i am fairly new at running servers and i was unsure of this question so i just wanted to clear it up thank you in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Daniel86268 Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 If you mean the command line window, afaik you can't close that without stopping the server, unless you add that as a Windows Service. Adding a Windows Service can be quite tricky, as you either need to add it using the Windows Registry or using 3rd party apps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
