LazZie
Hey y'all. I've been setting up my dedicated server for the past two days, and now I have it running and accessible from the server browser, however, there is a particular issue that I couldn't find a solution to. It is a multi-shard server, running an instance of Overworld and Caves, and for some reason the default spawn location is the Caves instead of the Overworld. It is certainly not a caves-only server, as I have teleported to the stairs ingame and did come out in the Overworld. Is there any way I could set the default starting point to be in the Overworld? What did I mess up? I'm fairly new to this, so bear with me please. Thank you for the help in advance! Daniel86268
It seems like you've set your Master server to generate a caves map, and the slave server to generate a Forest/overworld map. Make sure you've set the correct worldgen config options in your worldgenoverride.lua files for the respective shards. I set the preset in worldgenoverride to SURVIVAL_TOGETHER, rebuilt/reloaded the servers and voilá, works as intended, spawning in the correct location and all. Thank you very much!
