About the more unique character perks...

Stuff like Wilson's beard, Wolfgang's mighty and wimpy forms and Warly's unique cooking utensils. I wanna learn how to replicate similar perks for the sake of making my personal use mods more than glorified Wilson re-skins, though I imagine adding something like it would be a lot harder than with other simpler perks.

What's the best way to find the code for these perks so I can check them out myself to try and make my own?

I'm only really asking here since I'm not particularly familiar with the game's code yet, and I have the feeling someone somewhere out there already has an idea of how to do this. If I never get any help and I find a way to make something similar myself, I'll probably write a guide for it myself so other people don't struggle wanting to give their characters the ability to grow a beard as well.
