Wouldn't it make more sense and be more awesome if it had cool slush geyser and some other, very cold geysers? May be liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen fissures? Oil asteroid could have oil fissures, CO2 and natural gas vents. It would be cool if when you select starting asteroid, it could be one of many you find in the game and basically your entire colony could end up having multiples of the asteroids you could have started in, instead of select few starting asteroids and surrounding ones being even smaller and just catered to landing on them.
