When I select my modded survivor I'm stuck on the loading screen

I looked up a tutorial on YouTube on how to create a custom survivor and then tweaked the files a little in order to make it work. The mods works and doesn't crash but when I select the survivor that it adds, I get stuck on the loading screen. I can activate the mod and select a different character and it will work fine. But that character just doesn't like the constant I guess. 

Here's the tutorial I used: the only tweaks I did is making most of the file names all caps as that seemed to fix the crashing.

Did you check your logs? If there's no crashing information then you should start putting print statements on your code.

Try seeing which parts of your modmain file are reached.
