Atmo Suit / Jet Suit Compatible Checkpoints Mod (request)

Does anyone have any idea how difficult it might be to make an Atmo Suit Checkpoint consider Jet Suit Docks to be valid?

Currently the Jet Suit Dock stops complaining that it doesn't have a Checkpoint if you build the Jet Suit Dock next to the Atmo Suit Checkpoint and Dock(s), so the Jet Suit Dock considers the Atmo Suit Checkpoint valid, but not the other way around. The Jet Suit Dock is unusable when attached to an Atmo Suit Checkpoint, because the Atmo Suit Checkpoint don't consider the Jet Suit Dock to be a valid suit to pass the Checkpoint. I'd really like to fix this.

We have to click the dock, remove the jet suit, click the suit, choose a dupe, wait for them to equip the suit, then manually move them to a position outside in order to get them flying for a moment, until they come back past the checkpoint and dump the Jet Suit on the ground instead of into the attached Dock. Seems really clunky and so easy to fix on the basic level; I haven't at all looked into modding for this game yet, so I was just fishing for thoughts and maybe someone who knows how

Few notes about what I'm looking to do:

Basically I think I want to merge both docks so it doesn't matter which one you use. I figure the point of the checkpoint is that dupes require protection in order to proceed past, so either suit type should satisfy that requirement and allow them to pass.

If a dupe wants to pass either type of dock, they will try to put on an Atmo Suit first (if atmo suit docks are attached to the checkpoint), and if one isn't available they will try to put on a Jet Suit (if jet suit docks are attached to the checkpoint).

A more advanced version might allow you to configure which suit you want them to prioritise in addition to Vacancy, etc.

The more thorough idea might be to get more specific, and say if it's a Jet Suit Checkpoint then you must have a Jet Suit in order to pass, but if it's an Atmo Suit Checkpoint then either an Atmo Suit or a Jet Suit will suffice.
