It would be great if this game, like many of the other great sims out there, had a puzzle / scenario mode. It can put the player in a situation that would require the use of a key game mechanic to resolve. I imagine only offering a handful of unlocked buildings, have all the water be polluted, the goal is to have x clean water and go. Obvious the answer would be to filter out the polluted water, but then some other items that are unlocked can help create combos with the solution for bonus goals... like also do x y z. There could be scenarios of all sorts of difficulty levels that force utilizing many mechanics of the game while also showcasing them. Puzzles that require building creativity, especially buildings utilizing automation, could ease and educate many people how and why you'd use many of these items. Heck, even something as simple as "abandon your base, dig up to reach the ship and outrun rising lava" could be a quick and fun little scenario... could take multiple cycles even and require tight schedule shifting and sleep arrangements. It would be a sort of adventure mode where you`d need to do a couple of challenges each requiring you to use a mechanic of the game to beat the map.
