Player Indicator mod (that isn't broken?)

Global Positions is nice for the map ping ability, and it's nice for me since I host and can always see my friend's indicator on the screen. But once we move a certain distance away from each other, my indicator vanishes for my friend.

Global Positions hasn't been updated since 2017. And there doesn't seem to be any other 'unlimited range' player indicator mod that works. Is this really the state of the current game?

@kickx87That's because player indicators are meant to disappear when you travel a certain distance. And no, Global Positions is not broken.

@penguin0616 Player Indicators: "Always makes it so player indicators always show."

This functionality manifests as me (host) being able to see other players' indicators at unlimited range. They never disappear for me, regardless of range. My friend loses *my* indicator after moving a short distance away.

So yes, I'd say setting the Player Indicators feature of Global Positions to "Always' is indeed broken.

@kickx87Ah. No one besides the creator of the mod can fix that, and I don't think there are any alternate versions of the mod. I could be mistaken though.

shame, ireally could use a mod like that since i get lost so easily and so often. i am forever getting separated from the group XD
