Custom setpieces

How can I create custom setpieces via modding? Is it too much of a hassle to justify even trying?

Also, is there a way to make it so that certain guaranteed setpieces don't spawn at all during world generation, such as the Pig King or the Oasis?

And yes, you can enable/disable them or even tell the game how many to spawn of them, see these two mods:

They work, but were not updated for newer setpieces. so eg. they don't contain oasis.

You can also try the Do Your Map mod, but it might be difficult to find out working settings (without endless worldgeneration) if you don't know what you are doing when choosing settings.

With this mod you can not only disable set_pieces, but also rooms/tasks, eg. the whole desert (including oasis)
