two worlds on one server

I'm looking for help to create a Mod that can link 2 worlds in one. One world would function normaly and the other would reset daily I want to create a Mod that is able to create a portal between these worlds

With some fancy modding tricks, you could start both of the worlds (and the caves shards), and then use the portal to connect the player between them, and (somehow) have a persistent inventory

The teleportato mod might give some insight on setting up a persistent inventory.

That's in the singleplayer game. Don't Starve Together is quite different, but you could look.
