Ok, with the quality of life update coming in August, there are some suggestions I would like to make.

Number one is changing the world gen options, my one issue with turn of tides so far is the fact that it isn't customisable at all, so maybe a list with changes like increasing and decreasin the amounts of sea stacks, or maybe even straight disabling the lunar island.

Number 2 is more variety.

Another one of my main issues when I play is the fact that everything looks the same, and i know this might be because of the artstyle, but maybe some different types of sprites on the ground, or maybe even different types of mobs.

Thanks klei for all your work.

Specifically on #2, I feel Hamlet did this very well. It's so vibrant and just feels full of life, especially when you see those borders change. No two places look identical and specific things like the flowers all being very detailed and varied and even the different temples and shrines and statues and biomes and trees and turf and enemies-

Honestly I could gush on Hamlet forever It's that good

The thing about all that is that Hamlet was designed for single player, they have to make limits and restrictions in Multiplayer to keep it from becoming an extreme lag fest, I would take a less detailed world any day over lagging so bad the games borderline unplayable.

While these are things we can always hope and wish for that would of course be nice to have, we have to keep in mind Quality of gameplay.

For DST they should probably only add small changes, but not too many or like you said laggy worlds inbound. This isn't a change they need but it still wouldn't be terrible to have. They'd probably need to fine tune it.
