First of all thanks you for such interesting and promising game. Here are my thoughts, I hope It helps to improve your project.

1. I lose game if I have no money. I failed negotiations because of lack of resolve and my Sal has poor health. So there is nothing to do. I think this situation has to be more alternatively overcome-able.
2. Need the game mod where user can train his card-gaming skills with random or chosen deck (beyond the campaign, "Astral masters" reference). For example for training before hard story-driven fight.
3. Need more diverse scenes where we meet NPC. Most of all we meet them in the inn-like places. It looks like similarly.

4. When can we expect steam achievements?
5. Do you plan to add difficulty settings?
