Eugoth Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 I've been playing with my friends for a while in a dedicated server hosted in my machine. At first, I created just the overworld server to have less lag than running 2 servers, however I've changed my mind and think my bandwidth and PC can handle it . The overworld already had some cave entrances, so I searched online and here's what I did: I created a Directory called Caves inside Klei/DoNotStarveTogetherDedicated/Cluster_1/ and put a server.ini with different ports in it than Master's, but I had no success. My issue is: I'm not sure if that's all I need to do to set up the caves server, and I don't know how to link them both nor start them separately, as console commands I found to start the servers don't seem to work, returning "attempt to call nil value". My OS is Windows 10, and also not very experienced with dedicated server stuff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Daniel86268 Posted February 1, 2020 Share Posted February 1, 2020 On a dedicated server you are essentially launching a second server with the second world. Once fully configured and both servers are started they'll connect automaticially to eachother. If you follow this guide:, you just have to add and configure the caves parts.
